Modern Line Dancing - Beginners

This class is NOT for a brand new beginner, but for dancers who have been dancing for at least 6 months to a year.

Today’s modern line dancing is urban sophistication, swing syncopations, flowing waltz and nightclub rhythms, and dances with a Latin flavor. We are still dancing in lines — but are enjoying a large variety of music. Line dancing has evolved to offer everyone fun and enjoyment and will keep you coming back for more.

For more information, call Carol Larocque (Parkside member) at 705-525-0448, or visit our website – Dancin’ Feet in Motion – www.dancinfeetinmotion.ca. There will be a full write-up on the “Beginner-Monday-Daytime” tab of the website.

Modern Line Dancing – New Beginner

If you are looking for something enjoyable and fun to do in your spare time, try our “New Beginner” Line Dance classes on Thursday evenings. This class is for those who have never line danced before, and would like to try it out, or for those who wish to remain at a lower level of dance. Line dancing has several different levels of dance – this class being Beginner. No new dancers will be accepted after May 28th, as it is too difficult to try and get new people caught up to the others, and not fair to those who started at the beginning of the new session. Line dancing is enjoyed internationally. For more information, call Carol Larocque (Parkside member) at 705-525-0448, or Carole Tessier (249-360-5288-cell), or visit our website – Dancin’ Feet in Motion – www.dancinfeetinmotion.ca.

Modern Line Dancing – Improver

This class is not for a brand new beginner or a beginner who has been dancing for 6 months to a year. You would need exposure to line dancing for at least 1.5 years, to avoid frustration with the level of dance being done.

Join our class for laughs, fun, and although having fun, a good physical and mental workout as well.

For more information, call Carol Larocque (Parkside member) at 705-525-0448, or visit our website – Dancin’ Feet in Motion – www.dancinfeetinmotion.ca. There will be a full write-up on the “Improver Class - Wednesday” tab of the website.

The various movements involve a variety of walking, swiveling or turning movements done to the music of many Latin dances such as the Cha Cha, Mambo, Samba, Rumba, and the Merengue.
