John Richer - Manager

After Graduating from Laurentian University's Sports Administration program, I spent six years working in municipal recreation in French River, Red Lake and the Town of Minto. I returned home after accepting the opportunity to work here at the ParkSide. My great grandfather, Charles Johnston, was the first Chair of the Board of Directors of this organization and I am proud to be working to carry on his legacy.

Greg Duval - Assistant to the Manager

Greg is the Assistant to the Manager and has been with the ParkSide Centre since 2006. He is a Cambrian College graduate and spent most of his career working as a Graphic Designer. He enjoys art, mountain biking, movies and watch collecting.

Peter Marshall

Pete retired from Cardinal Health where he spent more than 30 years in Sales and Marketing for this supplier to the health care industry. He has been married for more than 45 years to Andrea and they have two children and four grandchildren. He has volunteered on our Board of Directors for 4 years, and also volunteers with the Lions Eye In The Sky Program with the Greater Sudbury Police Service, and The Sudbury Astronomy Club. His hobbies include computers, traveling, photography and astronomy.

Tammy Tucker - Kitchen Coordinator

Tammy has been married for twenty five years and is a Mother of three and a Grandmother of one. Tammy enjoys the outdoors, baking and cooking in general.

Sylvia Buttery - Assistant Kitchen Coordinator

Sylvia Buttery was born in Italy and moved to Sudbury from Toronto. She is a mother of three and grandmother of three and enjoys biking, entertaining and walking. She has over 30 years in the food industry, is looking forward to working at the ParkView Eatery and bringing some European flavours to our kitchen.

Keith Argent

Keith retired from the Ministry of Natural Resources after 40 year. He now spends his time as an avid volunteer for the Minnow Lake Lions Club, the Canadian Hard of Hearing Association and the local Food bank. Keith has been married to his wife Lana for over 40 years and has 3 daughters and 3 grand kids.

Gord Ewin

Gord is the retired Director of Education of the Rainbow District School Board. He worked for 44 years with the School Board as a teacher, Principal, Superintendent and Director. Gord was also one of the original owners of the Sudbury Wolves and is presently the Education Advisor with the team and consultant with the School of Education, Laurentian University.
